Microsoft open online store in US
>> Thursday, 23 June 2011
Microsoft, which has made billions of dollars selling packaged software, has opened its first online store in the United States offering its ubiquitous programmes for downloading.
It looks like Microsoft is really trying to keep up with digital media and have opened their very own online store. As you might have guessed, it’s aptly named, Microsoft Store, and they are selling just about everything Microsoft.
Simply titled the Microsoft Store, the online shop offers both hardware and software across all the company's product lines.
Shoppers can buy PC peripherals, Xbox games and (if in the States) Zunes from the same site, and get the same level of support as if it were bought elsewhere.
