Gmail error : A server error occurred and your email was not sent (#103)
Hello,

I have error message occurring every time when I try to attach any documents, when I send a message in gmail. It say's Oops... Gmail error : A server error occurred and your email was not sent (#103). I do not know where have and how to fix this error. I use internet Explorer 8 as my default browser on my windows xp machine. Can you help me or can reach your Google to inform them of Problems, if so thank you kindly give me the address in advance

I had the same problem. I deleted my cookies and history, did not help. I have Windows XP pro with Browser (Mozilla Firefox 3.0.4) updated to 3.0.6. I had just I once turned off firewall. With hotmail I have never had this problem, moreover, with proxy server. So my problem was in the combination of Gmail with the Filternet Proxy Server. Now I have resolved it.

A server error occurred and your email was not sent (#103) is an error message that appears in Internet Explorer when IE is not open to a particular page. When using a another browser such as Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome displays the correct are reported. Probably the problem is that your attachment is too large. The Maximum size is 20MB but because it also depends on the number files. For the best protection you can hold a maximum 17MB, it will always be good.

- Use Set your settings to "Always use https", and with the following steps:

1) Log in your Gmail account.
2) Click on "Settings".
3) Scroll to the tab "General" all the way down.
4) Click on "Use browser" select "Always use https".
5) Save the changes to save and load Gmail again.

I hope that it'll work now

Thank you for your response and the desire to help. This must be happening to many others, so I hope Google is working on the problem. In answer to your question, I have the same problem with the AOL browser as I do with Internet Explorer. As IE is the most popular of Brower, maybe, though I had tried another browser, I think the problem still needs a fix.
